Highland Bridge – Denver, Colorado

The Highland Bridge, which crosses Valley Highway (I-25) in Denver, CO, was opened in December 2006 and has become a noted landmark in the city. At 325 ft. in length, it is the third of three pedestrian bridges to connect Downtown Denver with the Highland neighborhood. Three steel ribs arch 70 feet above the ground. Asymmetric cables offer a sweeping support system for the suspended bridge deck, presenting an architecturally sophisticated and urban solution.
